OS DEUSES DO EGIPTO – HAPI, O SENHOR DO NILO, por Artur Felisberto.

clip_image001

Figura 1: Hapi é o deus do Nilo.

It has already been said above that the god Osiris was probably in predynastic times a river-god, or a water-god, and that in course of time he became identified with Hap, or Hapi, the god of the Nile; when such an identification took place we have no means of knowing, but that such was undoubtedly the case is apparent from large numbers of passages in texts of all periods. The meaning of the name of the Nile-god has not yet been satisfactorily explained, and the derivation proposed for it by the priests in the late dynastic period in no way helps us; it is certain that Hep, later Hap, is a very ancient name for the Nile and Nile-god, and it is probably the name which was given to the river by the predynastic inhabitants of Egypt.

(…) Hep, or Hapi, is always depicted in the form of a man, but his breasts are those of a woman, and they are intended to indicate the powers of fertility and of nourishment possessed by the god.

(…) When once Hapi had been recognized as one of the greatest of the Egyptian gods he became rapidly identified with all the great primeval, creative gods, and finally he was declared to be, not only the maker of the universe, but the creator of everything from which both it and all things there in sprang. At a very early period he absorbed the attributes of Nu, the primeval watery mass from which Ra, the Sun god, emerged on the first day of the creation; and as a natural result he was held to be the father of all beings and things, which were believed to be the results of his handiwork and his offspring.

When we consider the great importance which the Nile possessed for Egypt and her inhabitants it is easy to understand how the Nile-god Hapi held a unique position among the gods of the country, and how he came to be regarded as a being as great as, if not greater than Ra himself. The light and heat of Ra brought life to all men, and animals, and to every created thing, but without the waters of Hapi every living being would perish. There was, moreover, something very mysterious about Hapi, which made him to be regarded as of a different nature from Ra, for whilst the movement of the Sun-god was apparent to all men, and his places of rising and setting were known to all men, the source of the waters of the Nile-god was unknown. The Egyptians, it is true, at one period of their history, believed that the Nile rose out of the ground between two mountains which lay between the Island of Elephantine and the Island of Philae, but they had no exact idea where and how the Inundation took place and the rise and fall of the river were undoubtedly a genuine mystery to them. -- The Gods of the Egyptians or Studies in Egyptian Mythology v2, bay E. A. WALLIS BUDGE.

Hapimou = Means the Nile. "He" was depicted with the beard of a man and the breasts of a child-bearing woman.

Nudimmud < Anu-Thim-Muth < Kima-Mut, lit. “o Sr. de sua mãe *Kima

> Ti(m)-Matu => Tamuz.

Hapimou < Kaphi-mov > *Kaphi®-Mawu ó *Kaphur Ma-Chu.

                                            < *Kaphi® < Kaphir < Khepri.

<= Figura 2: Hapi - "running water".

Citação 1: Hapi is the ancient Egyptian god of the Nile. He is ancient not only to us of the modern world, but to the Egyptians as well. In fact, "hep", the root of Hapi's name is probably an ancient name for the Nile. Hapi was portrayed as a man with women's breasts. The full breasts indicate fertility and his ability to nourish the land through the Nile's annual floods.

Hapy is one of the four sons of Horus, he was portrayed as a mummy with the head of a baboon.

Figura 3: Hapí - "Runner" < Hepi < Ahephi =>

clip_image005

Citação 2: Nesher (Hebrew meaning Eagle), Kerub of Water, stationed in the West, Eagle-headed Scorpio. "The Priest with the mask of the Eagle spake and said, "Thou canst not pass the Gate of the Western Heaven unless thou canst tell me my name'" of which is replied "HEKA, Mistress of HESUR, Ruler of Water, is Thy name. Thou art TOUM, the Setting Sun."

Gemstone :: Aquamarine
Color :: Electric blue and Turquoise
Element :: Air
Metal :: Aluminum
Symbolism :: The water pourer/bearer

Origin:
Aquarius is related to the Egyptian god Hapi, who watered the earth from two jugs. There also seems to be some kind of relation to the Babylonian god Ea, who was sometimes called the "God with Two Streams"

Citação 3: Just as Egypt was divided into two parts (the north and the south) so was Hapi's domain, the Nile. As a god of the northern Nile, Hapi was depicted wearing papyrus plants, a symbol of Lower Egypt, on his head. In this form, he was called "Hap-Meht". The Nile-god of Upper Egypt was "Hap-Reset" and wore lotus plants (a symbol of the south) on his head.

When an artist was attempting to portray Hapi as a god of the entire Nile, he holds both lotus and papyrus plants in his hands or two vases.

Citação 4: In the Hall of Ma'at Hapy sat on a lotus flower in front of Osíris.

Texto 1: The so-called "Coffin Texts", inscribed on the interior of coffins, belong to the middle kingdom (2250-1580 B.C.)

I was (the spirit in ?) The Primeval Waters, he who had no companion when my name came into existence.

The most ancient form in which I came into existence was as a drowned one.

I was (also) he who came into existence as a circle, he who was the dweller in his egg.

I was the one who began (everything), the dweller in the Primeval Waters.

First Hahu (*) emerged from me and then I began to move.

I created my limbs in my 'glory'

I was the maker of myself, in that I formed myself according to my desire and in accord with my heart.

________________________________________________________________

(*)Hahu, the wind which began the separation of the waters and raised the sky. -- Translated by R.T. Rundle Clark, in his Myth and Symbol in Ancient Egypt (London 1959) p.74

Baco < Hahu < *Kaka > Heka > Hewe(l)

=> *Dewa & *Dewish

=> Zeus, lit. «o filho de deus»!

Sumer: Ga-Ga = Place (to) = Pluto.

Gu = Lord of waters = Enki

Us, uz: = domestic goose or duck (possible Semitic loanword).

Hapí < Haphu < Ahephi < Caco > *Ka-Ka > Sumer. Ga-Ga > *SA-SA,

Goose (n.) (…) Old English gos, from Proto-Germanic *gans- "goose" (cf. Old Frisian gos, Old Norse gas, Old High German gans, German Gans "goose"), from PIE *ghans- (cf. Sanskrit hamsah (masc.), hansi (fem.), "goose, swan;" Greek khen; Latin anser; Polish gęś "goose;" Lithuanian zasis "goose;" Old Irish geiss "swan"), probably imitative of its honking.

«Ganso» < Gót. Gans < PIE *ghans- < Ga-(An)-Zu > Ganzu > «ganço»

Ker + *Hahpinu = *Herephinu > Telepino > Serapeum.

clip_image012

Citação 5: It must be noted too that in one aspect Hapi was identified with Osiris, i.e., Osiris-Apis, or Serapis, in late dynastic times, when every sanctuary of this double god was called a "Serapeum," Hapi was held to be included among the forms of the god.

Hapi = *Herephinu < *An-Kur-ki => *Nefer-Ki ou

*An-Kapher > Kapher > Hapher + *Phiat = Hap-Reset, nome do Alto Nilo.

*Pot- < Phiat < Ptah (< Phitaki < Kikaki > Kakiko, “o filho de deus do fogo da terra”)

Citação 6: Ptah was a god of Memphis, the old capital where the pharaohs were crowned. He was originally a god of the earth: ta was the Egyptian word for "earth." Ptah was also a divine craftsman. These two characters enabled him to be attributed with the modeling of man and woman from clay, as the scarab was a modeler of dung. The scarab hieroglyph, in addition to kheper and neter, could also be read ta "earth" or "Ptah." In the Egyptian late period, Ptah was often represented as the older Khepri, wearing on his head the scarab who wrote his name. Hence, the scarab was another representation of Ptah, as was Ptah confused with Osiris- god of the dead during that epoch.

Texto 2: "Nefertem was a member of the holy triad of Memphis. He was the son of the god Ptah and the goddess Sekhmet. In Buto, he was called the son of the cobra-goddess Buto" (< Ki-Uto, deusa mãe do sol Uto!). Nefertem was an ancient sun-god of Lower Egypt. He was important to various creation myths.

clip_image013

Figura 6: Tríade de Mênfis.

Nefertem was associated with the young boy (Atum) who emerged from the lotus of Nun at the beginning of time. It was this boy that shed the tears from which all of mankind emerged. Due to this relationship, Nefertem was often called "the young Atum". < Nefer-Atum. In its third meaning, where physical seduction is present, Târâ is a buddhist mantra of the Mahâyana or Vajrayanâ sect. Here the mantra takes the form Om Hrim Strîm Hûm Phat. The sound symbol Phat is very important.

It is an explosive sound and symbolizes the piercing of the darkness by light. – [1]
