BAAL – O APOLO DOS CANAANEUS, por Artur Felisberto

Bel and the Dragon may speak to modern celebrative worship by "gods" who are about to get caught slipping into the pantry.
His various names in the Old and New Testaments demonstrate the various aspects in which he was regarded. Thus in Exodus he was named Ba`al-Tsephon, the god of the crypt. He was likewise named Seth or Sheth, signifying a pillar (phallus); and it was owing to these associations that he was considered a hidden god. Among the Ammonites, a people of East Palestine, he was known as Moloch (the king); at Tyre he was called Melcarth. The worship of Ba`al was introduced into Israel under Ahab, his wife being a Phoenician princess.
"Typhon, called Set, who was a great god in Egypt during the early dynasties, is an aspect of Baal and Ammon as also of Siva, Jehovah and other gods. Baal is the all-devouring Sun, in one sense, the fiery Moloch" As to the leaping of the prophets of Ba`al, mentioned in the Bible (1 Kings 18:26), Blavatsky writes: "It was simply a characteristic of the Sabean worship, for it denoted the motion of the planets round the sun. That the dance was a Bacchic frenzy is apparent. Sistra were used on the occasion". © 1998-2003 L.C.Geerts The Netherlands

25:32 ille respondit en morior quid mihi proderunt primogenita
El + Phi + An => Alphian, e todas as suas múltiplas variantes apolíneas.
Al +Phi +An => Alpan (< Alphan < Alphian < Kar Pan < Kar Kian )
Alpan (< Alphian < Kar Pan < Kar Kian ) = (Libens, Harmonia, Concordia) handmaid to Turan (goddess of love).
Alphian > Alphino > Alpinus > Albinus > Alpan (us) > Albanus, tribos itálicas adoradoras do deus das brancas neves alpinas.
Alphian > (…) > Albanus > Alawnus > Alaunus
Alaunus (< Haranus < Kauranus) = The Celtic version Apollo, who was venerated in the areas of Mannheim and Salzburg in Germany => Albi Ur ki > Albiorix = “King of the world". An alternative name of the Gaulish god Teutates”.
Kar Kian > Har Phian > Alphan > etrusc. Alpan > Aplan > etrusc. Aplu an => Apul(u)an > Apolon.

Figura 2 : (Phoenicia) Baal has the titles "Almighty" and "Lord of the Earth."
He is the god of the thunderstorm, war, good harvests, and fertilty; the most vigorous and aggressive of their gods. Baal is usually depicted holding a thunderbolt. There is a myth that tells of a challenge to him from Yamm, the Sea God. Armed with magical weapons made by the craftsman god, Kothar, Baal manages to overcome Yamm. Another myth concerns Baal's relations with Mot, god of Death, whom he initially defies, but to whom he eventually succumbs. Anath disposes of Mot, and then dreams that Baal is alive again, and so it is. Mot also returns to life and they renew their war. This occurs year after year, synbolizing the return of the seasons.[3] Mot = Ancient Phoenician god of the dead and of all the powers that opposed life and fertility; he was the favourite son of the god El, and the most prominent enemy of the god Baal. Mot was the god of sterility and the master of all barren places.
Dentro destas variantes uma delas teria sido a reconhecida como tal sob o nome do deus fenício do fogo Hobal < Kaubaal > Fuabal assim como a de outros onomásticos fenícios retirados da"collection of names compiled by Kate Monk". [4]

There can be no doubt of the identity of the names Ba'al and Bel, the Babylonian god mentioned in the Old Testament, the Bel or Belos of the Greeks, i.e., the Assyrian Belu (Bilu) contracted from Be'el, which is modified from Ba'al by the influence of the guttural. In an Esarhaddon inscription Zil-Bel ("Baal is protection") is the name of a king of Haziti, i.e., of Gaza (E. Schrader, Keilinschriften and Geschichtsforschung, Giessen, 1878, pp. 78-79), where Bel is evidently used for the Canaanitic Baal. The "bol" in the names of the Palmyrene deities Aglibol and Yaribol (and "bel" in Malakbel) may be still another form of Baal..[5]
Vaal (Velos) is the name of Kronos in Middle East.
Baal-Zephon, and Raphiu  “the shade”.
Zephon < Saphon < Ka? Phian)
Raphiu < Ra-Phianus < Ur + Phian < Urkian < Kaurano.
                                                            > Orfeu
While the word "ba`al" means simply "master" or "owner," He is considered a prince.
Yarikh (< Karikaki), Yirah (Ug. < Kuraki > Phuraca < Kafura); Yarkhibol (Ph.); Jerah, Jarah, Jorah (< Kauraki => Kafura), is The Moon, a God whose epithets are the Illuminator of the Heavens, the Illuminator of the Myriads of Stars, and Lord of the Sickle as the crescent moon. As provider of nightly dew, He is husband of the goddess Nikkal, His moisture causing Her orchards to bloom in the desert. The city of Jericho is named for Him.
Deus Hecules < Haka Hair Kal < Kari kaki Kar =>
Kar ahs Phol > Jarkakiwol > Yarkhi bol (Ph.) > Yarikh >Yirah (Ug.) =>
Jerah = Jarah = Jorah <= Karaki < Kar ki, lit. «Sol feminino» = Sol de Ki, a lua!
Traditionally, Mot and Baal (a god of springs, sky, and fertility) were perpetually engaged in a seasonal struggle in which Baal, like many similar harvest deities, was annually vanquished and slain. Mot (< Meat < Mesh < Mekaki => An Kaki > Anath), however, was also annually killed by Baal's sister Anath, who thus aided Baal's resurrection.
The name of Nikkal (< Nike Kal) wa Ib, a goddess of orchards, means Great Lady and Fruitful and derives from West Semitic ´Ilat ´Inbi meaning Goddess of Fruit. She is daughter of Khirkhibi, (< Kurkiwi < Kurkaki) the Summer's King and is married to Yarikh, who gifted her with necklaces of lapis-lazuli. She may have been feted in late summer when the fruits had been finally harvested.
"The baal", Hebrew hab-ba`al, does not refer to a single god, Baal, by name, but is a title, specifically, "master, lord." It is sometimes applied to Yhwh, the high god (as in Isa 1:3; and in the onomasticon in the case of Saul's sons Ishbaal and Meribbaal or the judge Jerubbaal -- see Cross 1973:263-264). This is plain in the case of the name b`lyh, one of David's heroes in 1 Chr 12:6: the name should be construed, "Yhwh is my baal," or, with the MT, "Yhwh acts as master/baal". Hosea, moreover, claims that Yhwh instructs Israel, "Call me no more 'My baal'" (2:18), implying that such had indeed been the practice. As a term for "husband", this expression, applied to Yhwh, fathered Hosea's imagery portraying Israel's alleged apostasy as marital infidelity. Hosea's Yhwh, thus, counsels the use of the term 'is, "man," in its place. To this text, we will recur.[6]
Abel < habel < Kabol < Sha Kar > Thubal > Tubal > Jubal > Iabal.
4:22 Sella quoque genuit Thubalcain (< Thubal + Cian = Kapal < Aphakal, filho do pai Enki, ou seja Kaphallu > Apollo) qui fuit malleator et faber in cuncta opera aeris et ferri soror vero Thubalcain Noemma (= Noémia < An hemia < An Kimea)
4:23 dixitque Lamech audite vocem meam uxores Lamech auscultate sermonem meum quoniam occidi virum in vulnus meum et adulescentulum in livorem meum
_KI2 22:8  And Hilkiah the high priest said unto Shaphan the scribe, I have found the book of the law in the house of the LORD. And Hilkiah gave the book to Shaphan, and he read it.
_KI2 22:9  And Shaphan the scribe came to the king, and brought the king word again, and said, Thy servants have gathered the money that was found in the house, and have delivered it into the hand of them that do the work, that have the oversight of the house of the LORD.
_KI2 22:10  And Shaphan the scribe shewed the king, saying, Hilkiah the priest hath delivered me a book. And Shaphan read it before the king.
_KI2 22:11  And it came to pass, when the king had heard the words of the book of the law, that he rent his clothes.
_KI2 23:11  And he took away the horses that the kings of Judah had given to the sun, at the entering in of the house of the LORD, by the chamber of Nathanmelech the chamberlain, which was in the suburbs, and burned the chariots of the sun with fire.
Common epithets of Ba`al

Ba`al is the god most actively worshipped in Canaan and Phoenicia, the Storm God, source of the winter rain storms, spring mist, and summer dew which nourish the crops. Therefore He is considered responsible for fecundity, particularly of the Earth, for the growth of vegetation, and for the maintenance of life.
None the less, He is NOT a god of vegetation. (...) In fact Ba`al is the son of Dagan/Dagnu, Himself a god of agriculture and storms, and not actually a son of ´El. Through a series of conflicts and competitions with other gods, Ba`al achieves a position subordinate only to ´El among gods. However, He defers to ´Asherah and often enlists Her favors when He must approach ´El. He also relies upon His sister `Anat, who is may be His mate, although not His wife. At times He transforms into a bull and She into a heifer, to stress their fertility, and together they "bring forth seventy, even eighty calves," i.e., many progeny. He is never called "The Bull," however, which title is limited to ´El. Ba`al's assistants are Gapen and Ugar, whose names mean, respectively, "Vineyard" and "Grain Field," again stressing Ba`al's relationship with the fertile, life-giving earth.
Dagon of Tuttul = He is a Syrian version of Dagon, and the probable father of Nikkal-and-Ib. Ugarit's Dagon was the father of Baal and may have been identified with El. There were also temples to Dagon in Mari and Emar. To the Phoenicians, he was a god of wheat[7] and the inventor of the plow. The Philistines adopted him as their own and depicted him with the upper torso of a man and the back half of a fish. [8]
Ninkurra > Ninkar > Ninshara > Ninsar > Ningal.
Ningal = The 'great queen' of ancient Sumer, and consort of the moon-god Nanna. She is the mother of the sun-god Utu. In Ur, she and Sin were regarded as the parents of Shamash and Ishtar. The Phoenicians called her Nikkal.
In Sumerian mythology, Ninsar was the goddess of plants. She was the daughter of Enki and Ninhursag. Ninkurra was the daughter of Enki and his daughter Ninsar.
Ba`al Lebanon, (< Re wan an < An Karkian) Master of the Cedars.
Ba`al Tsaphon, (< Saphon < Kaphian) Master of the North or northern districts.
Ba`al Adir, (< Adar < Atar < Sakar) Master-of-Help.
Baal-Hadad
Master of the Shields.
Ba`al Marpah´a, (< Marphantha < Me kar Ki Anta < Kar kime Antu > Sacramento) Master of Healing.
Ba`al Shamim, (< Kime An?) Master of the Heavens.
